I have heard that they have changed their policy since my fall so that at least is a silver lining for other riders. The incident was also documented inaccurately and no one followed up with me. I was told to jump back on, before getting checked out by a doctor, which may have also exacerbated the injury. I was put into a dangerous situation, where there were lots of indications that a fall would happen and lots of things that could have done differently to avoid a fall.
I ended up getting long-term hurt from riding here (fractured pelvis that still hurts over a year later 😭), and it was fully preventable.
